+ means it is a recording from the band's own archive, so that means recorded from a pro mic on a mic-stand a few feet out front, or possibly on the stage itself, depending on the venue. That feeds to (I think) a DAT. So an audience recording still, as opposed to a soundboard patch, but of a very high quality. That also means these recordings may be released in some form one of these days so be sure to buy them if they are.
