Sound isn't great but that is a problem of the venue (an instore), not the recording. Words from the taper: "I was standing three feet (at most) from B. Callahan, and feeling pretty self conscious, so I hid the microphones under my shirt. The speaker right next to my head kept turning on and off. I thought the recording was doomed, but since it was just Bill and his guitar (and the tambourine he kicks), there wasn't much that could go wrong, in terms of the sound mix. Came out fine."
