MV & EE Medicine Show

MV & EE played with Nemo Bidstrup on all these UK 2004 sets, in addition to any other players noted below.

Dec 15 2004 Marlborough Theatre, Brighton, UK *

Audience Recording, B+ to A
Show suffers from some interference caused by my mobile phone. First time that's happened to me. And the last - I keep the damn thing switched off when taping now. Anyway, it is very brief but also very distracting :-(

Blood Stereo set, 25 minutes
Taurpis Tula set, 20 minutes
MV & EE Medicine Show (featuring Samara Lubelski & Dylan Nyoukis on Solestrial II), 29 minutes

A Bummer Road set, sort of. Samara plays bass throughout. Chris Corsano joins on drums for "Canned Happiness". His drums weren't mic'ed and are fairly low in the mix, though that is how it sounded out front on the night. Sets from pretty much everyone else on the bill also available.

Nov 13 2006 The Red Rose, London, UK *

Soundboard recording. I think Matt's vox are a little high in the mix on this one.

61 minutes

Set from Hush Arbors also available.

Nov 14 2006 The Shaw Library, LSE, London, UK *

Audience recording, A. CSBs used, instead of my usual ECM-719 mic. Some ambient sounds, doors closing, people shuffling etc, and some room hiss.

34 minutes

Nov 14 2006 CB2 Basement, Cambridge, UK

37 minutes. Incomplete, filmed till the tape ran out. Full set was about 60 mins.

PAL DVD-R. Audience-shot, from near the front at the side. Very good audio and image quality, with lots of zooming, though the image is quite dark throughout. Cuts between songs, to conserve battery or rest tapers' arms, I guess.

Nov 15 2006 The Maze, Nottingham, UK

Soundboard recording

63 minutes

Nov 18 2006 The Bowling Green Pub, Manchester, UK
